SWIFTWATER, Pa., August 11, 2004 -- Aventis (NYSE:AVE) today announced thesubmission of a Biologics Licensing Application (BLA) to the U.S robinson curriculum. Food and DrugAdministration (FDA) for marketing approval of Adacel (Tetanus Toxoid and ReducedDiphtheria Toxoid and Acellular Pertussis Vaccine Adsorbed) for prevention oftetanus, diphtheria and pertussis in adolescents and adults aged 11 through64 years robinson curriculum. The BLA for this candidate vaccine was submitted by Aventis Pasteur,the vaccines business of Aventis.

Risk of Pertussis
Pertussis is a highly contagious, respiratory disease marked by severe coughing robinson curriculum. There are both severe and mild forms of pertussis robinson curriculum.
