What is the most important information I should know about Apokyn?
• Before using Apokyn tell your doctor if you are taking granisetron (Kytril),ondansetron (Zofran), dolasetron (Anzemet), palonosetron (Aloxi) or alosetron(Lotronex) apokyn. These types of drugs can cause extremely low blood pressure in peopleusing Apokyn apokyn.
• Apokyn may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or fainting apokyn. Do not drive a car,operate machinery, or do anything that might put you at risk of getting injureduntil you know how Apokyn affects you apokyn. Tell your doctor if you get dizzy orfaint while taking Apokyn apokyn.
• Before using Apokyn tell your doctor if you are receiving any drugs totreat nausea and vomiting or irritable bowel syndrome apokyn.
What is Apokyn?
• Apokyn stimulates certain chemical receptors in your body apokyn. Increasedstimulation of these receptors may help improve motor function in patients withParkinson's disease apokyn.
• Apokyn is used, as needed, by injection to treat the loss of controlof body movements in people with advanced Parkinson's disease apokyn.
• Apokyn may also be used for purposes other than those listed in thismedication guide apokyn.
Who should not take Apokyn?

• Before taking Apokyn, tell your doctor if you
· have had an allergic reaction to Apokyn;
· have had an allergic reaction to a diuretic (water pill) or a sunscreencontaining PABA;
· have had an allergic reaction to a sulfite or sulfa medication;
· have dizziness;
· have fainting spells;
· have low blood pressure;
· have asthma;
· have liver problems;
· have kidney problems;
· have heart problems;
· have had a stroke or other brain problems;
· have a major psychotic disorder; or
· drink alcohol apokyn.
• You may not be able to take Apokyn or you may require a dosage adjustmentif you have any of the above conditions apokyn.
• Before using Apokyn tell your doctor if you are receiving any drugs totreat nausea and vomiting or irritable bowel syndrome apokyn.
• Apokyn is in the FDA pregnancy category C apokyn. This means that it is notknown whether Apokyn will harm an unborn baby apokyn. Do not take Apokyn without firsttalking to your doctor if you are pregnant apokyn.
• It is also not known whether Apokyn passes into breast milk apokyn. However,breast feeding should be avoided during treatment with Apokyn apokyn. Do not take Apokynwithout first talking to your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby apokyn.
How should I take Apokyn?

• Your doctor may prescribe a medication called an antiemetic to take whileyou are using Apokyn apokyn. Antiemetics help lessen the symptoms of nausea and vomitingthat can occur while using Apokyn apokyn.
• Store Apokyn at room temperature away from moisture and heat apokyn. Syringesof Apokyn can be filled from the ampules the night before use and stored inthe refrigerator until the next day apokyn.
What happens if I miss a dose?
• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember apokyn. However, if it is almosttime for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take only your next regularlyscheduled dose apokyn. Do not take a double dose of this medication apokyn.
What happens if I overdose?
• Seek emergency medical attention if an overdose is suspected apokyn. apokyn.

• If you experience any of the following side effects, stop taking Apokynand seek emergency medical attention or contact your doctor immediately:
· an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat;swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
· irregular heartbeats;
· severe vomiting;
· chest pain; or
· muscle cramps or seizures apokyn.
• Other side effects may be more likely to occur apokyn. Continue to take Apokynand talk to your doctor if you experience:
· dizziness;
· hallucinations;
· depression;
· headaches;
· injection site reactions;
· sleepiness or falling asleep while doing things during the day;
· falling down;
· sudden uncontrolled movements;
· nausea and vomiting; or
· diarrhea or constipation apokyn.
• Side effects other than those listed here may also occur apokyn. Talk to yourdoctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome apokyn.
What other drugs will affect Apokyn?
• Do not take Apokyn without first talking to your doctor if you are takingany of the following drugs:
· granisetron (Kytril);
· ondansetron (Zofran);
· dolasetron (Anzemet);
· palonosetron (Aloxi); or
· alosetron (Lotronex) apokyn.
· any 5HT3 antagonist apokyn.
• These types of drugs can cause extremely low blood pressure in peopleusing Apokyn apokyn.
• Apokyn may interact with many other medications apokyn. Do not take any otherprescription or over-the-counter medicines, including herbal products, duringtreatment with Apokyn without first talking to your doctor apokyn.
